Movie Fashion

The journey of the rise and fall and phoenix like re-birth of India's number one Supermodel.
Set against the glittering backdrop of the glamorous but ruthless world of haute couture
fashion, this tells the story of one small town girl with a dream and the determination to make it a reality
Meghna Mathur knew in her bones that she was meant to be famous. Ever ambitious and bright with stars in her eyes, even as a girl with conservative parents from a small north Indian town – she dared to dream of bright lights and the big city…
The world of fashion – the clothes, the colors, the make-up. . . all of these form a part of a fascinating world that Meghna's longed to be a part of.
Meghna never wanted to compromise on anything on her journey to success – as she puts it - whoever said intelligent women couldn't be glamorous?
She reaches the peak of her success and rises to walk the ramps for leading designers across India.
The fashion world lies at her feet – the parties, the brand endorsements, the photographers, the models, the romance and of course - the shows, the shows, the shows!
However karma catches up with Meghna as she slowly starts to pay the price for her fame and her journey to the top.
Her attempt at a comeback was going to be a near impossibility . . .
However she was never a woman to turn away from a challenge…
"Fashion" explores the world of style through the emotional personal journey of the key people that make the industry - the dream-weavers of that elaborate world of glamour: the models, designers, photographers, businessmen, agencies etc.
In the world of image – makers - is it possible to conquer it and remain true to yourself?

Farewell Party

Today our class had a Farewell party for our Beloved Moral Teacher,Puan Masniah Tara.
We all did our part by bringing food and drinks to make the party a success.and so it was.
it was the saddest thing for our class to accept the departure of our teacher. She was the best Teacher yet.We made a Card just for her to remember us.and when it was time to her to leave,we asked our friend to read it out loud.Every words in that card touches our hearts and we actually cried. It was the second time i cried.the first was during perhimpunan when they announced that she will be the principal of a new school which i dunno where is the school.never heard of it..well who wouldn't cry she was crying too.Moving on2,she inspire all of us to be a good person.and i still remember the times when she always touches my neck and always match me with Glenn.which i dun know why.Anyway, back to the story,we as her students will always remember her and even choose her as our Idol in our life.and we promise to work our hardest to achieve 7A' in our PMR.because all our teacher put very high hopes on us b-Cuz we are the second "Clever" class.kunun2..haha

well, L8R I'll post what was written in the Card..
Keep in touch^-^

Lots of LOve,

Adding Walnuts To Good Diet May Help Older People Improve Motor And Behavioral Skills

Hey there blogger!
I would like to share this article with you guys
ENJOY!!
ScienceDaily (Apr. 19, 2009) — Adding a moderate, but not high, amount of walnuts to an otherwise healthy diet may help older individuals improve performance on tasks that require motor and behavioral skills, according to an animal model study by Agricultural Research Service (ARS)-funded scientists. Walnuts contain polyphenols and other antioxidants and essential fatty acids.

The study was conducted by researchers with the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (HNRCA) at Tufts University in Boston, Mass.
Neuroscientist James Joseph, psychologist Barbara Shukitt-Hale and coauthors Lauren Willis and Vivian Cheng reported the study in the British Journal of Nutrition. They are with the HNRCA's Neuroscience Laboratory. ARS is the principal intramural scientific research agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The aging brain undergoes many changes that can result in altered or impaired neuronal functioning. Such disruption can be attributed in part to alterations in "synaptic plasticity," or the ability of the connections between neurons to change instrength and function, and also by increased oxidative damage to neural tissue. In aged rodents, these impairments are seen as poor performance on age-sensitive tests of balance, coordination, and "spatial" working memory.
For the study, weight-matched, aged rats were randomly assigned to one of four diet groups. For eight weeks, the rats were fed special chow mixes that contained either 2 percent, 6 percent or 9 percent walnuts-or no walnuts-before undergoing motor and memory tests. For comparison, the 6 percent walnut study diet is equivalent to a human eating 1 ounce, or about 7 to 9 walnuts, a day. That counts as both a 2-ounce equivalent from the "meat and beans group" and 2 teaspoons toward a daily allowance of dietary oil, as described at MyPyramid.gov.
The study found that in aged rats, the diets containing 2 percent or 6 percent walnuts were able to improve age-related motor and cognitive shortfalls, while the 9 percent walnut diet impaired reference memory. Walnuts, eaten in moderation, appear to be among other foods containing polyphenols and bioactive substances that exhibit multiple effects on neural tissue, according to the researchers.
